Ways in which I am a dork, #823

For Happyfest II at
bringthehappy there were 441 prompts. 441 is the square of one lucky prime times the square of another lucky prime. And in this case "lucky prime" not only refers to the specific mathematical term - they both happen to be numbers that are often considered to be lucky.
I have GOT to go back to school. Because I am NOT THIS SMART, I'm just BORED.

Date: 2008-08-28 02:55 am (UTC)My favorite numbers, I wouldn't necessarily call them lucky numbers, are 8 and 64. 8 because it's basically the same as the symbol for infinity, which would make 64 infinity squared. And I love the impossible task of trying to wrap my mind around the idea of infinity squared.
(I actually got into an argument about that once (online, of course) with someone who told me I was just wrong since the number eight didn't really have anything to do with infinity or the symbol for infinity. Uh, I'm sorry your mind doesn't have that much flex to it, but how can my personal symbolism be right or wrong? It's like asking someone to logically justify their color preferences.)

I don't consider any numbers lucky or unlucky myself, but I definitely have numbers I like or dislike, and there seems to be a system to it but it's not based on anything logical - one number makes me feel good and another feels wrong. It's weird.
