My response to this episode can pretty much be summed up as: *shrieeeeeeeeeeeeek* No, seriously, I started the episode by shrieking aloud and ended it the same way.

The only thing that could have made this episode better was - no, wait, IT HAD PENGUINS!

Well, just barely, but yes, it did! When the girl first started messing with the remote control and was changing channels, there was a shot of Magellanic penguins (yes, I went back and paused it and checked)! Since I was already "ajlsdkjf! GIANT LIBRARY!" and all, and I've had a thing for penguins since I was small, it was kind of, well, *flail* MOFFAT GAVE ME PENGUINS! It wasn't enough that he gave me a GIANT LIBRARY OF AWESOMENESS, he gave me that and PENGUINS!

This is embarrassing, but I just looked again and I think they were African penguins, not Magellanic penguins.

*hangs head in shame*

And yes, Moffat so very much wins with me right now. Except for Plankton Girl, but I'm going to be magnanimous and forgive him this time around for that.

I promise, I would never have noticed that you were wrong about the type of penguin. My knowledge of types of penguins is mostly: some have stuff on their heads, and some don't.

Plankton girl...yeah, I think he should get one free pass. You can whack him for his next writerly cop-out. *nods*

Yay penguins! Actually I'd like to go back and look at all the scenes the little girl flipped through on the TV. I bet some of them have hidden meanings!

Hmm, this is indeed a possibility. I have to admit to not paying much attention to the non-penguiny shots. Apparently some of her drawings are kind of interesting.

Well, there were *penguins*. You can't be expected to concentrate after that! I had to watch "Gridlock" three times because I was squealing for so long after the kittens that I missed huge chunks of plot. *g*
