Brooms of fury

I finally got a chance to watch some Olympic curling this weekend but sadly it was only the men's finals and I had to settle for highlights of the women's races. Which is a real shame if for no other reason than I didn't get to see Cheryl Bernard in action.

She's the skip in the center and I could give a damn if her team won or lost.

In the men's medal matches Sweden and Switzerland broke my heart a little because I wanted there to be a way for them both to win. But while I applaud Norway's bold choice of pants (I much preferred the gray, white and red to the blue, red and white)

I couldn't help but want to cheer for Canada - not that they needed my help because they may have had the most awesome crowd ever.
