Gah, I think my eyes rolled *out* of my head, rolled across the room, and jumped up and thwacked the TV when Abby said that. Not only was it incorrect, it even seemed out of character. A stereotypical girly-girl might not have a flat full of pet lizards and work as a biologist, either. I would think Abby would at least be open to girls liking comic books, even if it wasn't her thing particularly.

I think there was something specific somewhere in the middle of the season that made me think that, too - a reaction on Stephen's part, or some look Helen gave? Because I had the same idea in my head. I don't want to attribute too much subtlety to this show though. Heh.
