In which I babble

The fact that I haven't actually put up a vid yet does not mean I've lost the will to vid, it just means that I'm *makes flaily hands* being me. I'm thinking I need to embrace the concept of vid drabbles, perhaps like promo spots for real vids.

Also, does anyone else find themselves surprised to discover they like a particular pairing, or is that just me? I swear, it's not how I am in regards to my own life. I mean, I've known people who needed it explained to them that they liked someone, but I'm usually pretty aware of where my head and my heart are at. Yet my fannish predilections are constantly smacking me upside the head. Weird.

Hee, and nope, I'm pretty predictable about pairings, really. Well, sometimes there are pairings that I think I probably should like, but don't. But not the other way around.

Really though, yesterday morning I'm listening to this song and idly starting to put together a Batman Begins/The Dark Knight vid for it in my head and then I realize I'm putting together a Batman/Gordon vid and, "Where the heck did THAT come from?"

I love my brain, but it does keep me on my toes. :D

Driving with my iPod on shuffle always turns up weird stuff. It's a good thing I don't make vids; otherwise I'd be trying to make a Doctor/Rose crackvid to Rod Stewart's "Almost Illegal," and crack or not, that can't end well. *g*

Shuffle is the road to crack, I swear! This morning it was Men At Work, "Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive", which naturally led to thoughts of Jekyll.
