So now I've seen the finale to Life On Mars and I'm feeling a bit traumatized. I don't have any problems with where things ended up, but I do have a problem with how they got there.
Still, finales end up the way they do for a variety of reasons, and an entire series should never be judged by them. Not only that, I consider finales to be one of the few times it is acceptable to contravene canon. Don't tell me Sam Beckett never made it home.
