I know, this is my fannish journal, but this is the bestest thing ever: Lost parrot tells veterinarian his address.

Actually, I am probably less amazed that the parrot was able to do this and simply incredibly pleased that the featherbutt got to go home. Though I will admit to being amused by the fact that he wouldn't talk to the cops.

Hee! I love that story. How wise of the family to teach him to give his address! I think I'm most amused that they taught him his full name, including the title. I suppose it comes across differently in Japanese, but that's part of the fun of international news stories. :)
