So, long story short my vacation plans for 2009 are pretty much dead. I was thinking about my next possible vacation and to be honest I've realized that I'm the type of person that probably would enjoy a cruise. I was amused by recent TV commercials for Carnival so I went to their website first. If you click on 'Destinations' you get a world map with a few icons, usually animals or landmarks, for various destinations. For Alaska there was a small picture
of
a
PENGUIN.

Congratulations Carnival, you may have set a speed record for insulting my intelligence and squashing any chance of getting my business.

Did you email the webmaster? (This reminds me that I emailed a webmaster once to inform them that the photo they had labeled as "pokeweed" was actually black cherry or something. But that was an obscure website and the information wasn't something everyone should have learned in seventh grade geography or by reading Ranger Rick.)

There are instances where I've seen this as a possibility, but not here. Pretty clear penguin.

I'm not sure I could get just a webmaster instead of someone trying to sell me something and this is almost certainly a marketing department issue anyway. Maybe I'll call the local office.
